Team Henge

Mark Brendan – Chief Creative Officer

Responsible for game design and writing duties, Mark Brendan has been an author and game designer since he began his career as a staff writer with Games Workshop’s White Dwarf magazine in 1996, where he also had short fiction published for their Black Library imprint. Mark moved on to other writing and design jobs in both video games and tabletop, for companies including Target Games, Climax, Codemasters, Vivendi, Sony, and others besides. Some of his more recent efforts include writing and narrative design on the Solomon Kane board game, a 10mm mass combat version of the classic wargame, Leviathan, and occasional bits of lore and rules updates for the Void 2.0 and Urban War sci-fi skirmish systems.

Martin Frain – Chief Marketing Officer

Martin Frain was born at an early age and began gaming shortly after. After stints at Wizards of the Coast, EA and Atari (amongst others), he now heads up tea making and consuming at Henge Games. He’s also studied business, founded businesses, and is beginning to understand some of it.

Sebastian Czarnecki – Chief Operating Officer

Sebastian is an avid collector of wee metal toy soldiers and has spent the last 11 years working in the tabletop miniatures industry, where he is involved in production, product development, and fulfilment. At Henge Games, he is combining his passion for miniatures with his hands-on experience to create exciting tabletop games!

Artists

Paul Edwards

Paul is a games industry veteran now, after 25+ years in the industry. Most of these years have been spent making character art. A traditionally trained artist who has evolved alongside the tools of digital media, portraiture and figurative illustration is also part of his skillset. Paul is freelancing currently, developing his portfolio at http://www.pauledwardsart.com

Stuart Frain

I’ve always drawn. Some of my first memories are of drawing. I’ve been heavily influenced by 2000AD, and D&D art, from the 80s and 90s. Bisley, Parkingson, Elmore, Easley as well as Frazetta, Boris, Bell and so many more. I love to paint and sculpt all the crazy demons in my head as well as those from film, games, books and comics. I’m happy to work in any medium, they all have their own challenges and idiosyncrasies. I mostly work in digital at the moment, mostly because it’s quicker and doesn’t take up too much space. I know I probably do have a style but I’m constantly trying new things and pushing myself to learn more.

Slawomir Lasocki

Slawomir’s art comes from a crippling obsession with 80’s fantasy illustration, Metal and the big four of AD&D 2nd edition era art, Larry Elmore, Clyde Caldwell, Keith Parkinson and Jeff Easley. It is an amalgamation of these things made form. He’s also weirded out by typing about himself in the third person.
